As practice Principal, Paul is a Chartered Building Surveyor and holds an Accreditation in Historic Building Conservation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As such, he is one of the most highly qualified conservation professionals in Cumbria and advises owners of historic property throughout the North of England. He practices regularly in the National Parks of the Yorkshire Dales, Northumberland and in the Lake District World Heritage Site.
He acts as a consultant to The National Trust, English Heritage and several property owners of country estates. With over 40 years’ experience in property and building, Paul specialises in the repair and restoration of historic buildings. From cottages to castles, professional advice is offered to help property owners acquire and manage their unique buildings.
Based at Brougham Hall, near Penrith, Paul is recognised by grant funding bodies such as English Heritage, Natural England and the Heritage Lottery Fund as a suitably qualified professional to provide project management services for building conservation and restoration projects.
